Mission
The mission of Youth Services of Creek County,
Inc. is to maintain and operate a youth shelter, related services,
and personnel for the purpose of assisting minor children to divert
them from the juvenile justice system to more productive life styles
by identifying early the problems young people face in school, at
home and with peers; and assisting families in trouble by working
closely with youth, parents, schools, law enforcement, courts, and
community agencies to prevent minor behavioral problems from developing
into juvenile delinquency.
Objectives
The functions or objectives of YSCC are
to: provide leadership to fulfill the stated mission; provide emergency
shelter, care, and related services to youth in distress; develop
and implement service programs and projects for children, youth, and
families in need of protection and assistance; identify and study
trends and concerns regarding youth and their families in Creek County;
be involved in the rehabilitative and preventative aspects of youth
and family services; cooperate and promote relationships with other
organizations; promote community and agency funding of current and
future programs.
