Can you receive any

What are the benefits of
Chia Seeds? Native
Americans would take a pouch of seeds and a gourd of water on their
trips. The seeds were their food source and taken with the water they
would hydrate their bodies for endurance. The seeds have twice the
protein of any other seed or grain, five times the calcium of milk,
boron which is trace mineral that helps transfer calcium into your
bones, omega 3 and omega 6 which are essential oils for the body. One
day my stomach was hurting real bad because of the acid. I took one
tablespoon of dried seeds with just enough water to get them down. I
waited for five minutes and then I drank more water to finish hydrating
the seeds. It worked! The seeds hydrated from the acid in my stomach.
The pain stopped. :)Can I bake with Chia Flour? Yes, you can use it
like you use regular flour, for every cup of regular flour, you would
use 2/3 cup of chia meal
How can you take Chia?
Seeds? Chia'shydrophillic structure holds water, so
when mixed with sauces, drinks, yogurt, salad, dressings, cream cheese,
jellies and preserves, salsa, hot/cold cereal, dips, puddings, soups,
etc. It displaces calories and fat without diluting flavor. In addition
to extending foods by 50% - 75% calories and fat have been reduced
without compromising flavor, with an ingredient that is 90% water. Chia
gel is also a great fat replacer for baked goods and special qualities
for sugar control and weight loss. One pound of chia seeds would make 24 cups of
gel once hydrated which if you took the recommended dose of three
tablespoons three times a day of the gel it would last you over a
month. I recommend to my customers to just use 1/3 cups of seeds and
put in two cups of water and whisk to hydrate then place in fridge. It
will last three weeks. Take out as needed and then when that is gone
then hydrate more seeds. Once a day you can take One tablespoon of the
raw seeds and put them in water or juice prior to workout or physical
activity or for appetite control and weight loss.
Can you use Chia seeds for liver
cleansing? We
would recommend milk thistle because it is known to help the liver.
Chia seeds and cancer? Cancer
doesn't like hydrated and nourish cells. It likes damaged cells. Chia
seeds keep cells nourished, hydrated and healthy.
Is Chia good for the skin? Chia
is excellent for the skin because of omega 3 and 6. By keeping your
body hydrated it helps your hair and skin look youthful.
Do Chia Seeds enhance
flavor? Chia
seeds do not enhance flavor, because there is no taste to it. YOU DON'T
have cover it up with sugar and sweeteners. You just use your food or
drink like it tasted before.
How much chia seeds a day
should you take? We
recommend in the gel form 3 tablespoons, 3 times a day and the dry form
once a day a tablespoon and 2 times a teaspoon. Make sure you use with
fluids when taking it dry.
Why are Omega 6 Fatty
Acids important? The
ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 in modern diets is approximately 15:1,
whereas ratios of 2:1 to 4:1 have been associated with reduced
mortality from cardiovascular disease, suppressed inflammation in
patients with rheumatoid arthritis, and decreased risk of breast
cancer. One ounce of chia seeds has 4920mg of omega 3 and 1620mg of
omega 6.
Why are Omega 3 Fatty
Acids important? Omega-3
essential fatty acids are important for healthy nervous systems,
cholesterol levels, brain function and can reduce inflammation. Many
people prefer to use supplemental forms of omega-3 essential fatty
acids rather than from fish, walnuts or flax. It is important to
remember that omega-3 essential fatty acids from fish oils need to be
free from contaminants like mercury. You do not need too much protein
or omega 3 and 6 so the maximum of the gel you will need is three
tablespoonfuls three times a day of the gel. Once a day you may
substitute one tablespoon of dry seeds in place of the three
tablespoons of gel.
What are Triglycerides? Triglycerides
are a form of fat in the bloodstream. People with high triglycerides
often have a high total cholesterol, a high LDL (bad) cholesterol and a
low HDL (good) cholesterol level. Many people with heart disease also
have high triglyceride levels. Several clinical studies have shown that
people with above-normal triglyceride levels (greater than or equal to
200 mg/dL) have an increased risk of heart disease. People with
diabetes or who are obese are also likely to have high triglycerides.
